     This image is part of a series created by Sandra over the past 6 years. The "meditative painting" approach has attributed to a momumental rise in demand for her artwork and programs. This expression invites an emotional display of color and texture. the movement reinvents and term, "freedom of expression".

Sandra's spiritual practices involve multi-cultural traditions; the influence in this piece is the blend of chakra colors used to evoke the creative forces inplied in the title of the piece: "Creative moment". The painting was creative during a group meditation in which Sandra offered a verbally guided meditation, the group remained in a trance-like state and she began to paint. The energy of the group was cooperatively used to create the motion (emotion) felt in the image.   

This 24 x 36 canvas was created as a series called, "Wrapped in Spirit"as a part of 36 canvas stretched by the artist as part of an active meditation. The energy of the painting provides a soothing quality with soft brush strokes and layers of earthy colors drifting downward.

"....The sign from above is a memory shared. I used to walk the wooded paths behind my childhood home and collect things from nature. Often, I would come across a feather and add that to my collection. But when the feather was white, I aleays felt as though it was a sign from my angels."

This pieces is near and dear to the artist as it was part of a series of florals creating as she recovered from surgery. Painting is the most healing approach to working through painful times in our lives. These images create a feeling of gratitude as they remind me of how I can take control of negative situations by simply focusing on the positive.

Created as a meditative piece. Merging the colors inspired by heaven and earth. Moving through the atmosphere in a meditative state, we feel the air brush by our skin and move through the moment. A moment marked by a single breath, a touch, a thought that lasts an eternity and creates an imprint in time.

This series was created in 2015 as part of a new program offered by Sandra: "Drawing from LIfe, A Birds of Prey Experience" Student sign up for spending a day with several birds of prey while Sandra offers hands on instruction and demonstrations in all 2D mediums. This indoor/outdoor experience is a thrill. See us a Boldt Castle/St Lawerence in spring starting 2015.
